Mariah Carey's best friend Jasmine has revealed some exciting new details about the divas upcoming twelfth studio album.
"I heard a variety of tracks", reveals Jasmine "and there were big ballads, catchy melodic hooks, hilarious and witty wordplay, and clever lines galore."
"I had a few favourite tracks: some that talk from the heartbroken lover’s point of view; some representing the proud and stubborn dumper; and of course beautiful love songs, inspired by Mr C. On one song in particular, she wears her heart on her sleeve, and it’s very touching to hear her pouring her heart out so publicly."
Jasmine also revealed that the album has been recorded in Miami,and that it's due out "in the next few months".
Exciting! I'm not too sure about this "hilarious, witty worldplay" though because I don't want Mimi being too gimmicky and childish like she sometimes is. Anyways to me the album sounds like it's going to be a mix of the old and the new, classic Mariah with a modern twist which is what Janet was going for with Discipline. I guess we won't know till we hear something new, so until then we'll all wait with baited breath!
