It seems like LA and NY are where the creative, young, fashionable, and gay scenes are the most prominent. But between these cities which one do you think is the best place to live as a young gay man?
NYC... will make you very prepared for LA when you mature a bit.

Because of my job I'll probably move to NYC. I won't be broke, it is one of the best paying jobs. But I really want to move to San Francisco, or even LA, which do not have many jobs in my aspiring profession
LA is so boring compared to NYC and the gays there are the pits.
What are they like? Are they attractive inside and outside? I've heard they are super super pretentious and sleep around to get money or an actor role

LA gays = extreme wannabes, shallow opportunists, will sleep with anyone to advance their social status.

NYC gays = can be snobby but know how to party.
That's what I thought. But I'm kind of worried that NYC is like 90% tourists. Imagine meeting many hot guys and they all are not from here Or maybe in local gay clubs there are mostly New Yorkers?
I'll elaborate on why I made this thread. I wanna work in the business side of entertainment and know that LA and NY are the main places for this business. I'm really familiar with NYC and always thought I would just live/work there but the recent weather and the fact that I'd be paying so much money to live in a rat infested closet has been making me think about LA more. I've only been to Southern California 3 so I was trying to gauge what it's like as a young gay man there a bit better
