Live Performance: Britney's real live vocals

She has a good voice and its obvious her team made her stay in the high pitch nasal sound in order to be successful. So why do people say she can't sing?

'cause she can't sing. She tried and she did decent, but now she barely sings in her albums. I mean, you guys even know the person that sings instead of Britney in some songs.

Because they'll say ANYTHING to discredit her. Is hard that their fave is not the biggest selling female of the last decade.

I really don't understand why they don't at least turn her mic up halfway and let her sing to a backing track. She's probably still better than the likes of Cheryl Cole and the latter has had more live performances in the past year than Britney has in the last five.

Honestly, I feel like her voice is just naturally deteriorating.

Did you hear her voice change between Circus - Femme Fatale. She sounded like she as still 17 during the Circus era, and during Femme Fatale she sounded like she had a cold for 18 months. Even during XFactor in 2012, it was much deeper and less smooth.

Recently (BJ era) it seems to have improved but it's not as good as it used to be. And that's JUST her speaking voice.

It's obvious her singing voice is going to be affected too.

They did this for the Femme Fatale tour. They didn't do it for Vegas though.

Yeah I know. It feels weird that they're taking steps backwards (from the one live song, to backing tracks, to nothing) as time goes on. Especially since they hyped up how she was getting vocal coaching and would be singing live for her Vegas stint.
