I didn't include "I Do Not Hook Up", because the video just came out and it would take a while for it to get on TRL. The same reason why "Boom Boom Pow" isn't on there. Instead, I would think "My Life Would Suck Without You" would still dominate the countdown with an "Umbrella"/"Shut Up & Drive" situation happening soon. I put Kings Of Leon on the countdown, because honestly, TRL wasn't just about pop and hip hop, but about alternative as well. I don't know how to explain the rest. I just put them on there, because they're huge on MTV.com. Eminem and Britney are obviously TRL's icons, so they occupy the top two slots on the countdown. They would probably swtich back and forth.
