Jessica Simpson Won't Do A Show With Britney Spears

Jessica Simpson has dismissed reports she's approached Britney Spears to join her in a new TV sitcom.

The Dukes of Hazzard star wanted Spears to team up with her for a comedy comparable to beloved funny series Laverne & Shirley, according to U.S. tabloid the Globe.


But Simpson's father/manager Joe has taken to social networking website Twitter.com to brush off the claims.


He writes: "Rumour incorrect... no jess-brit show.. luv brit.. just no show."
