Justin Timberlake to host SNL, Ciara musical guest
Justin Timberlake will perform hosting duties on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" for a third time. The singer/actor has been announced as the host for the May 9th episode of the comedy show. He last hosted in December of 2006.
R&B singer Ciara will serve as musical guest, her first time performing on the show. Her and Timberlake are currently heating up the pop chart with their duet, "Love Sex Magic." They'll be performing the Top 10 single from her "Fantasy Ride" album which releases May 5th.
Timberlake's appearances on "SNL" have produced some of the most viewed videos on YouTube, such as his duet with Andy Samberg "**** in a Box." Timberlake made a cameo appearance on the show in late 2008, where he appeared in a skit with Beyonce which became another viral video sensation.
The May 9th episode is one of the last for this season of "SNL." Will Ferrell will reportedly serve as host for the season finale.
JT always makes memorable SNL moments so I can't wait for this!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Now that's what I call perfect host and performance booking.
My face lit up with joy when they announced it like they usually do before going to commercial break. I am literally counting down the days. Justin is THE funniest and most entertaining SNL host I've ever seen. Give this talented ass man a permanent contract. I don't care how many appearances he makes on the show, I will never get tired of him.
JT and Ciara performing together will definitely raise the ratings. Can't wait.
Ciara Is Performing Twice Once With Young Jeezy On "Never, Ever" & "Love Sex Magic" With Justin Timberlake
Hopefully She Participates In One Of The Skits With Justin He ALWAYS Brings It On SNL
Oh yeah I should have said next single. I like Never Ever but I want to see her perform something else like High Price
Oh, but with Timberlake there it's a sure thing that she's performing "LSM." I don't think "High Price" is even going to make the album. "LSM" needs to be revived and this is the best way to do it, I'm really excited to see it done live.
Justin? Uhhh, the man has an unhealthy obsession with being accepted by the black community. I understand he needs to keep up appearances between albums, but it's hard to respect someone so obsequious. He just tries too hard. Please JT, conserve a little dignity.
