Not true. Some bird species are extremely intelligent, like Crows and Magpies. So intelligent in fact that they know how to use tools, vocalize, memorize and are self aware just like us Apes. They even grieve for their dead and hold funerals or ceremonies. I read about them last week actually.
And Dinosaurs were not
that intelligent, especially in comparison to modern day mammals and birds. The smartest known Dinosaur is the Troodon and it was probably just a lil dumber than most modern birds.
