Photographer Lynsey Addario’s memoir ‘It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War’ recently closed a deal with Warner Bros. for a film adaptation. On Tuesday, it was revealed that Steven Spielberg will be directing the project, with Lawrence playing Addario.
Addario is best known for her captivating and poignant war images, having spent time in Afghanistan in 2000 capturing photos of oppression under the Taliban regime. She has also photographed conflicts in Congo, Iraq, Darfur, and Libya.
