The single is already up for pre-order in some countries and its length is 3:41. The cover is a bit meh but I'm so freaking excited! 3 more days 'till the premiere!
It's uptempo, but not really dance. A lot more in the veins of regular pop than the abstract and dark electronica on Heal, but that's not negative in any way. It's actually cool to see Loreen try on something that's not usual for her.
The song is very optimistic and light, I'd say closer to See You Again than any of her other released songs.
It starts off very simply and slowly grows until it explodes in a falsetto chorus. Beautiful!
I'm afraid I'll be disappointed. Last year she said the album is heavily inspired by Kanye West, and that it's dark and quite tribal if I recall correctly. Dumpster and Jupiter Drive were indication of this. I fear the direction had changed into more lighter, appealing easier record. I don't like the snippets in the trailers :/
So this girl is going to release it on Spotify a day before the new chart week, while releasing it on iTunes 4 days into the chart week?
Your avatar describes perfectly how I feel about this strategy. At least she's not pulling a carly rae and getting the new single promo in the UK til June
