This is what ticks me off about some Vegans. You can't force people to eat how you eat. What if some of her crew members are meat eaters? They have every right to eat what they want to eat.

She is going to be paying the people in her team very good salaries, and spending most of her time with them. It's her money, and she gets to determine the job requirements. If you don't want the job or can't fulfill the requirements, don't apply.

Okay, girl, if you can find a UK law that states that requiring certain attributes of job applicants--specifically diet--is discrimination, you go ahead and clock me.

This has nothing to do with race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, creed, etc. It is a personal attribute that anyone can choose to have.
