What research? It's a music forum and I came here for that purpose. I don't care about the sexual preferences of other members, but to claim that only one orientation use this forum is plain stupidity and ignorance.

I think its very closed minded to think that only gay males would be interested in pop culture and stats about music in general. Believe it or not a lot of the stuff on this forum is very informational and educational if you're interested in the music business, more so than other sites and stuff I've been to (but hey if you have any other suggestions, I'm all ears!).
Just like some girls are hella into sports, some dudes are into music or pop culture or w/e you wanna call it. And for most of y'all to try to put, not only yourself, but others into boxes as if there's no way there could be crossover is really annoying.
