I'm not being shady when I say this, but I love that she's in no rush to lose the baby weight, so she can land a cover of People magazine of her in a bikini 4 months after childbirth saying "my post baby body!"
I have two sisters - one with 5 kids (she's 38) and one with 3 (she's 32). Pregnancy completely ruined their bodies (especially stretch marks on their stomachs) but they've also had a lot of difficulty losing the weight. How could you not? Babies are so dependent on their parents, especially their mothers. They need to be looked after 24/7 and most women can't afford the personal trainers, chefs, nutritionists and multiple nannies that celebrities can.
Anyway, I'm ranting and writing an essay as I always do. But I admire that she's in no rush to lose the weight, and is just enjoying being a mum and being with her daughter. I care a lot about my sisters' self esteems and happiness. And I know how insecure they are about how much their bodies changed after childbirth. So much is said about body image in relation to insecure young people, but I think Kelly's body is a great thing for the body image of new mums around the world who follow pop culture, which a lot of women do.
Sorry for the rant. Again
