Except he didn't say MBDTF is ONE of the best albums in the past 25 years, he said it is THE best album of the last 25 years. Is Kanye so arrogant to the point where he has to disregard genre? There are plenty of albums that are better than MBDTF that came out in the past 25 years i.e. Nevermind, OK Computer, Homogenic, Illmatic, and many more.

Yes, it is ONE of the best in a list of like 300 and it's nowhere near the top. It isn't as good as The Low End Theory or Aquemini. Heck, it isn't even Kanye's best album lyrically. There isn't a song on MBDTF as good as, for example, All Apologies by Nirvana, or Fake Plastic Trees By Radiohead, or even Jesus Walks by Kanye himself. It was definitely the best album of 2010, but of the last 25 years, that is reaching to the high heavens.
