We’re in the thick of networks picking up pilots and lining up actors to fill those casts. This year I decided to make a thread prior to my usual thread for May Upfronts for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and the CW. In this thread I’ll have updates pertaining to the pilots vying for a spot on each networks 2015-2016 season schedule. Pilots already ordered to series by a network will be noted. I’ve compiled information from various sources including The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and The Futon Critic, and for even more information, check them out.
This years Upfront presentations will take place as follows:
May 11, 2015 NBC
May 11, 2015 FOX
May 12, 2015 ABC
May 13, 2015 CBS
May 14, 2015 The CW
Which pilots would you order to series based on this information?

Will look out for The Catch, The Kingmakers, Flesh and Blood, Supergirl, Scream Queens
Overall I'm disappointed with ALL the pilots this season. Will continue to watch my shows I've been watching for 1-5 years.

None of these shows sound even remotely interesting to me, except perhaps the Laverne Cox show. I really hope she slays CBS.
Not pleased by the way that the shows whose summaries directly state that they feature gay characters are all comedies... As if our lives are a laughing matter. That's not to say that other shows won't feature LGBT+ roles, of course, but so far... Only comedies.
Although I read that Laverne's role will make her the first trans person to play a trans character in a broadcast tv program. Or something like that. Slay, goddess.
Oh, and I may check out Supergirl because she's DC Universe and the other DC hero shows (Arrow + Flash) are both quite good.

As of a few weeks ago I had these on my maybe list, in order:
Cheerleader Death Squad (CW)
Warrior (NBC)
Kingmakers (ABC)
Curse of the Fuentes Women (NBC)
Of Kings and Prophets (ABC)
Family Fortune (ABC) - Producer Tina Fey
Apocalypse (NBC) - Megan Mullally
Telenovela (NBC)
Scream Queens (Fox) - Queen Lea Michele
But this season the only show I've been glued to is Jane the Virgin, so I'm guessing I'll permanently add 0-1 of these to my list.

Plenty of shows / movies have similar titles. Doesn't mean they similar story lines.

This sounds like it could be terrible or great
Cool thread though, I'm going to have to pick a couple of these and try them out:
Cheerleader Death Squad (the title alone ), Superstore, and Frankenstein look most interesting to me on first glance
