Both are iconic hits for their respective artists but I think BR has the edge simply because of its video. The McQueen fashion, the latex suits, the fire bra... So many things people associate with Gaga are in the BR video. Umbrella just doesn't have that in its video.
Vanity Fair did a great article about how Gaga and BR opened the doors for other artists to start working with big-name fashion houses. BR is iconic and impactful.
