Is ignore the same thing as blocking? If not then how do I block someone, is there even a block feature?

It's the closest thing to blocking. You have to go to their profile as if you're adding them as a friends, and there lies the ignore option.

A moderator contacted me and advised me to put phreshprince on mine because he is obsessed with me & my safety was being threatened after I refused to reciprocate his intense affections. Rumour has it he was sending around pictures to members via PM of the name "Haburo" tattood on his wrist.

How is it stupid? It's easier to ignore trash members then having to remember their name when your skim reading.
