The blogger who supposedly has inside label sources (he's also posted stuff on Rihanna) said this could be Vanessa's final album with Hollywood Records.

I hope this is true cause thats a great line up of producers & she really needs to get out of Hollywood Records.
She has a lots of potential but HR keeps ****ing her over. Her last album 'Identified' had some potential top 40 hits on it but instead they release Sneaker-**** as the lead and only single Not to mention the basically zero promotion she got.

If she gets zero promorion again, i just hope it won't be amazing, because it'd be such a waste

Well those people are stupid...Vanessa is not an "amazing" singer and never will be.

This post just shows how stupid you are.
Everyone is different so your interpretation of "amazing" will be different than the chick standing next to you but because her opinion is different than yours doesn't make her stupid.

And you don't have to be an amazing singer to make an amazing album.
Vanessa ain't no X-tina or Mariah but she's good enough, she can actually hold a note despite what the haters mite think.

Plus her last album got generally favorable reviews from critics so who's to say she can't make another well-recieved album.

In that case, stay @ home, playas only...

i dont care if she flops again, as long as she makes great songs like these ones i mentioned above. Shes already rich and she does NOT lose money if her album flops

Pedro, you act like she's the one that chose "Sneakernight" as the 1st single.
She's an endorser of Ecko Red clothing and they approached her to make a song to promote thier sneaker-line.
So to save money Hollwyood Records released "Sneakernight" as the lead single since Mark Ecko financed the entire video.



Though I would love for her to have an album that sells over 570k. I don't want 'V' to remain her highest selling album ...

Vanessa is an ok singer, and I have her albums, but I'm not a huge fan of her.
On "V" only two or three songs were tolerable and everything else was shity.
But "Identified" was really great, but "Sneakernight" was a terrible first single, it's just so irritating.
My favorites are "Did It Ever Cross Your Mind", "Identified", "First Bad Habit", "Amazed" and "Paper Cut".
The singles should've been:
1st "Identified"
2nd "Hook It Up"
3rd "Amazed"
4th "First Bad Habit"
Hope the third album isn't bad, and she finally gets (even a moderate) hit single and album, both.

I really loved "Set It Off," from Japan's version & "First Bad Habit," "Identified," & "Did It Ever Cross Your Mind."

Can't wait for this.

Identifid, Hook It Up, and Gone With The Wind were the only memorable songs from Identified. She needs to step up her game, the other Disney kids are kicking her ass.

Ohh I didnt know, but she could have made a second single and a really better choices, I so ****ing loved "Identified", actually I own it, it came out like a month ago here in Portugal and I bought it. Love the album wish Vulnerable and Hook it Up were singles =/
