2008 - 2010/2011 was an interesting time in internet culture

Probably because stanning itself didn't really become big until around 2008ish and most stans are gay, so when pop music made a big resurgence during that time period, stans (and thus the gays) started coming out of the woodwork here.

People weren't as open with their sexual orientation back then I guess, they were more private then atrl became more personal people post here everything about their lives whereas before it was mostly about only pop. That's my guess

It really annoys me when people who are clearly not Kats use Katy avis. It is trollish to our fanbase. Also I've never seen a Kat wear a flamebait avi against Gaga and there are like three or four Monsters who do that
