waiT. Is this even allowed to chart in the UK?

I thought the rule was that only the first song put up for purchase on a album preorder was elligable to chart. I remembered in 2013 DWUW was technically #1 but because of Applause being release first it couldnt chart at all.

Did they change the rules?

~~I think it's been released under the Living for Love remixes EP instead of RH. So it's technically from another "album". I don't feel like checking UK iTunes rn, but that's my guess.~~

Er, well in her top songs on UK iTunes it's under RH. So Idk. Maybe there's some invisible footnote in the rules now.

"Living For Love" was not released in the UK with the pre-order. Its charting alone it was just released last week as the first single. She apologized on her instagram to her UK fans because it was out of her control and the way the chart system works there basically.

they should have put tracks 2-6 up with the album and a single version of this up in december so its individual sales would have counted

What irritates me is that the UK said they stopped playing her & yet she charts at #26.

Whereas, the US hasn't SAID they stopped playing her yet & she can't hit the Hot 100.
