Great answer from Madge, as always.
The last part about the music business and the fact "everyone's become so safe and so politically correct" is VERY interesting.
Swag, she didn't say Music needs him, she said she feels like the music industry needs him, referring to his way of saying what he thinks without a filter. Not sure why you're always making topics misleading people like that.

808s & Heartbreak had a significant effect on hip hop music. While his decision to sing about love, loneliness, and heartache for the entirety of the album was at first heavily criticized by music audiences and the album predicted to be a flop, its subsequent critical acclaim and commercial success encouraged other mainstream rappers to take greater creative risks with their music.
The album impacted hip hop stylistically and laid the groundwork for a new wave of hip hop artists who generally eschewed typical rap braggadocio for intimate subject matter and introspection, including B.o.B, Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, and Drake.

Correct. Kanye's a dick, but it's great to have strong, opinionated and political voices like him in mainstream music. Madonna of all people knows this.
