I used to hate them, but that's because I never prepared speaking. Rather just did my slides or whatever and read them directly. But later in high school I practiced more, summarized and acted interested. The only time that didn't work was if it were based on time.
Just think like you're talking to a very close friend in a loud manner of presenting him/her something. Make the listeners your stans. Own the floor like no one else would take it.
I usually focus more on myself than the others since most of them don't care about it. But i like to do presentations so idk if this works for people who don't
I mean I like dealing with people, I'm just outgoing/extroverted I guess but just remember that they're people as well and probably nervous, too. They're not there to attack you either, only to listen just like you are.
Just tell yourself you're the most superior being in that classroom when you get up front. Everyone else in the class is stupid and their opinions don't matter. If they don't understand what you're saying it's because you're too smart foe them. Obviously none of this is true but give yourself that little pep talk beforehand and trust me it works wonders. I never get nervous presenting anymore.
when it's a group presentation me and my highschool group would laugh throughout the whole presentantion because of idiotic things like if one says a word the wrong way we would giggle and laugh, we were such an idiots. But solo presentations are the worst to be honest.
