Ok, cool! It'll definitely be before the summer starts I'm thinking within the next 1-2 months (whenever Ace or supaspaz approves). I'll put together another Spotify list/YouTube list so y'all can listen to the songs y'all haven't heard it.

Benefit Of The Doubt remains her best song and video though. I wish that one had peaked at #2 instead

True
Mercedes Boy comes close though. The album version >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> single version. Even though though the album version has this unnecessarily long pause where you only hear the instrumental (I don't know why they left that in there, song would be perfect if not for that), it still trumps the single version.

All songs released by underraged singers have secret meanings gurl. Britney's "HIT ME baby one more time", Christina's "you gotta rub me the right way" and Monica's "It's just one of them days that a GIRL goes through". Why not say "that we all go through". Read between the bloody lines

"Rhythm Nation" is a solid winner. I can't really complain, especially when R&B/hip-hop finally dominated a rate! (I never would have expected "One More Chance" in the top five. Those Ashanti stans really came through.)
Great job hosting, umich! I'm looking forward to the '80s edition.

Am I on ATRL?! I can't believe 9 out of the top 10 in a rate were R&B/Hip-Hop songs! Awesome and although the winner was a bit predictable, I'm always happy to see All@h win a rate!

This is done and now, I'm going to catch up what I have left off.
40-A powerful song by Celine that creates magic in the air.
39-So smooth and laidback. Too bad it's over for this one.
38-Twisted is not bad, but it's Keith's voice kinda makes it hard to listen to the song so I couldn't fully like the song.
37- What a f**king jam this one is. Pumping up this jam to the max. A jam still familiar to me to this day. "Yo! Pump up the jam. Pump it up. While your feet are stomping."
36- I really like this one. Don't know why others called it bland or boring or some stuff. I guess the love ain't endless.
35- Kinda of an adventurous song that I like to listen more to see if I want to really enjoy this or not. Don't know if I would love this song always forever. Yeah, the power of Macarena is unreal.
34- Foolish Games is so great and amazing.
33-I remember this one and I hope I will not remember this ever again. I'm not a fan of Madonna and this one is so bad that I was nice with the 5 I gave.
32- I do love the smileys in this video. The song is not bad and catchy-do do do do do d d do.
31- Well, the water runs dry and out for these men. The song is not bad and I kinda like it.
Top 30! So 1991 songs are gone.
30- This one is good and I gave it a fair score. How Do I Live kinda makes me feel.
29- I shocked how far this song went. Making the top 30 is impressive. Yeah, Lil Kim verse is the best thing about this song so glad you guys rate this high because of her. As a whole, I really like this one, but it ain't perfect so it didn't get a 10 for me.
28-I got the power!
27-Apparently, my chemistry teacher never heard of R.Kelly when I overheard her closest students talking about him and other music artists. That day in particular I overhear conversation about music artists like Sia and Lady Gaga in and outside of class. This song here is really great. So wonderful and smooth. Should've been top 10! I still believe I can fly and I think about it night and day. The gospel choir is a great touch to a powerful song.
26- Queen of Hip-Hop and soul is here. I'm not gon cry and sheard no tears.
25-This one is not bad, but I couldn't get into it that much.
24-That one was terrible. What is that? Glad No Scrubs blocked it from #1. Speaking of No Scrubs, it's better than No Mediocre.
23-"I'm a bitch, I'm a lover. I'm a child, I'm a mother. I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed" That alone makes the song worth liking plus that guitar solo. I didn't rate it higher because it didn't standout that much, but still a good one.
22-A R&B classic! Deborah's vocals are amazing and the song itself is powerful.
21- Really surprised that Under the Bridge made it this far. Oh, look Jump! Jump! Wonderful jam. Kris Kross-a-maina died young.
Top 20! Still only 1991 songs are out.
20-I don't see the hate for this song. All I Wanna Do is listening to this song and get it on. The mood of it all is just wonderful. No surprise that 1994 brings the good stuff.
19-Such a laidback jam. It's a good one. I like to listening to a freak like her.
18-Such a great jam this one is. Return of greatness.
17-It's not TLC''s best, but it's good. Baby, baby, baby wish I had more love for this song.
16- I know that I should very happy that this classic jam even made it this far as it could've been out early, but I feel this is not enough. This hip-hip jam is great and greater than great. The slow, laidback and smooth vibe I get from it gets me power. You won't hear better hip-hop songs than this iconic 1994 west coast hip-hop classic jam that tells the tale of an attempted car-jacking. I miss Nate Dogg. RIP dude. This song right here deserve not only top 10, but to be the winner of this rate and also should've been #1 on Hot 100 PERIOD! This is the only song I would give a 11 out of all the songs in this rate. YEAH! I said it!!! The score average should be rounded to 8.0000000! BTW, I checked out on You-Tube and saw Warren G and Jazz legend Kenny G perform this song on the Jimmy Kimmel show. It was not bad. I guess this came about because Jimmy thought it would be funny to see the two Gs performing together and they said, ehh, sure.
15- You Make Me Wanna is good, but not his best.
14-Man, this song takes me back. The sound alone makes me feel. Janet's voice is solid and the vibe of the song I get from Janet's singing and the sound makes the song a standout and get more feelings from it.
13-This song right here is not bad. Too high though.
12-A really good song by Brandy. I wish she's a mess for me.
11- You're Still the One is a masterpiece. It should've been top 10!
Top 10! 1996 is gone!
10-Out of the Janet songs that are in this rate, this one didn't make me feel as much, but still good and a sexy jam.
9- A classic west coast anthem that I'm really shocked to see in the top 10 alone. It will never die.
8- Can't Let Go is a nice song so not surprised it got all these 10s. Maybe I should've given it an 8.
7-We let go the better of the En Vogue songs. DivaDown getting the heat without people knowing them.
6- It's a really good song Heartbreak Hotel is.
5-I will say that this is probably Madonna's best that is the less annoying. I would've gave it a 7-7.5, but I wanted other songs to be higher and looks like I succeeded. I prefer this over that other overplayed Frozen song. You know the one.
4- A true hip-hop classic that I'm excited to see in the top freaking 5! Look like my work is done. It's amazing that the sampled song can go with anything and make it really good evident in this one and Foolish. Waterfalls, why were you so selfish.
3-That one was not pleasant to here. I guess I"m not going to get it.
2.- Red Light Special is a nice sensual song.
1- Rhythm Nation is the #1!!! A great #1. A really good jam to dance to. The video is incredible as well. This is a deserving #1. Those smooth moves. Yeah, DivaDown needs to go down.
Seeing the Year-by-Year stats is interesting. I rep hard for 1990. Both my brother and my birth years are the top 2. When will your birth years? The only song I didn't like from 1994 was that Madonna song.
I really like this rate. Glad that I participate in it. Some unexpected stuff happened like the Hip-Hop/R&B actually made the top 50 let it along few made it into the top 10! I might be interesting in taking part in the 80s #2s rate.
