Music reaches to a lot more people than any other media, its natural that music artists are more known. Go to a country outside the US and they will recognize Pitbull more than Oprah if you as a random person on the street.

Those "most powerful" lists include people with a lot of money not with a lot of popularity, and they include people that neither of us know so that's not a valid receipt in this case, STOP!
