The Velvet Rope is an extraordinary piece of work. However, BEYONCÉ fits the category already.

The Velvet Rope is so freaking overrated.

BEYONCÉ is her "The Velvet Rope", but her next album might be even better.

Not to mention it touched a lot of different genres.

Beyonce was to me more her Janet. album. Expressive, experimental..... but not deep. You listen to Velvet Rope and it makes you just look deep inside...it's just thought provoking and emotional. It's vibe was like a high on first listens, just amazing. I can't see Beyonce doing that to me. Janet has a vulnerability that Beyonce doesn't have in my opinion.

BEYONCÉ is no Velvet Rope.

Then she'll never be able to be "deep enough" for you.
