Does Beyonce Intimidate Older White Misogynistic Men?
Over the past few months, I have seen older white men from Kid Rock to Mike Huckabee to Bill O' Reilly to Noel Gallagher make racist, misogynistic comments about Beyonce. They all admit (some to an extent, while others saying outright) that she is the biggest star in the world, but in the process, they trivialize her.
Are they intimidated by an African American woman having so much power and wealth?
Yes. Very much so. See Mike Huckabee for example. She is singing about doing sexual things witht her HUSBAND. That is something that should be promoted to the youth. It's a healthy and respectful way of living.
Not really. I wouldn't say she intimidates them. It's more that she is an easier target. They can't come for more powerful women like Oprah who is college educated and a self-made billionaire, so they come for an entertainer like Beyoncé. That's all it is.
Yes. White men get internally scared when their position of power is challenged, especially when it's someone at the bottom of the privilege chain like a black woman.
