My dad and I are atheists, though he's closer to an agnostic than me. My mom is a Christian but doesn't go to church, pray, etc. and is progressive by Christian standards (pro-choice, pro-gay rights).

Yes, I am Catholic. I go to church every Sunday. But I don't believe everything they say. I have no problem with gay people and I believe they should have all the rights that we do (although my church never mentions or says anything about gay people). Church is more of a place where I can calm down and speak to God at the end of the week. It makes me feel peaceful.

We're all baptised Protestants but we were never a religious family. There was never church on sunday, bibles laying around, etc.
