To be fair, while we want it out as soon as possible, it would make sense to do a later release to keep hype going for the ensuing Oscar campaign (it's quite clear Diane is out for blood this time lol) and it could lose steam with any early release. But stranger things have happened with the Best Original Song category.
I will never understand how we've gotten to the point of most Katy stans praising Gaga after the Oscars and most Rihanna stans being all bitter and having the nerve of saying "She finally had a good performance". Like, I've seen this stated by multiple Rihanna stans.
I strongly believe AHS is going to give her that cool factor that I didn't think she would ever have again
Highly possible though we should all keep in mind that the ratings will most probably be crap. Season 4 was downright atrocious so it's gonna affect Season 5. Kind of like Glee had a crappy S5 and while the S6 was much MUCH better it still dropped like a rock.
I'm kinda disappointed that between the tour and AHS, we might not be getting music until very late 2015 or early 2016. I was kinda hyping myself up for a Summer/Fall release.
But as long as she does well the wait will be more than worth it
