In two days, The Hunting Ground — a documentary that features a new Lady Gaga-sung, Diane Warren-penned track called “Til It Happens To You” — is coming to theaters, and Gaga’s Little Monsters will have their first chance to hear the song.
Less than two weeks before the film’s premiere at Sundance, Lady Gaga announced that she leant her voice to “Til It Happens To You,” which one audience member after seeing the film, described as a “dark, brooding anthem.”
As far as we know, no official release is planned for the track, but at least one sneaky fan is sure to upload a phone recording of the song to the internet when the film hits select theaters on Friday.
The documentary follows the stories of female students at universities as beloved as Harvard who were told by administrators that their rape didn’t happen, typically to keep the student rapist’s families happy and funding coming in.
