Start naming the clues they gave of Gaga throughout Freakshow because I know there were tons of them

Not to mention, in this AHS thread throughout the season, we were joking about how similar Elsa Mars was to ARTPOP era Gaga. The way she lived for the applause, was doing anything for the spotlight, her elaborate costumes, etc.




The Hotel clue was given in one of the episodes towards the end of the season where Maggie was talking about her past, and they showed a flashback of her pick pocketing people in a hotel lobby.

Weren't there a few gay scenes?

The way Elsa called freaks her monsters can count as a clue too

Kind of a reach I doubt they knew Gaga was going to be in this season as early as last summer when they started filming Freak Show. The hints were probably about the plot of the season, not Gaga

Not really. Ryan is known for putting clues of the next season in the show (he has said so himself).

I actually made fun of how she kept referring to her freaks as her "monsters". Who would have thought.

There were none. The show did, however, have a lot of David Bowie references. Elsa dressed as a clown always seemed like another Bowie reference to me.


I always felt like Gaga was referencing Bowie, too. Esp. since 'Applause' was heavily inspired by Bowie.
