Seriously, I'm glad it flopped because it was an insult to this great anime. Although I am sad because with this we won't get a real Dragonball epic movie like I always wanted.

It's mostly because Fox ****ed it all up with that way they promoted it (Barley anytime) (I don't trust anything with Rupert Murdoch as the owner.)

Also from the Trailer the movie did suck.

I was gonna see this even if though the trailer did turn me off but I decided I'll just rent it instead and bring a couple friends over so we can just laugh @ how horrible it is.

The movie was such a piece of crap, just an insult to the serie that was so epic, im kindaown , I thought it'd be amazing :S

Umm, no. Promotion did suck, but even with great promotion, movie would've made maximum $20 million, and I'm being pretty generous. You would expect a movie of Dragonball to do $100 million.

I didn't want it to flop.

If it did good, it would get a bigger budget for the second one. :-/

They shouldn't even bother with a second one.
The cast was already badly chosen to begin with. Some animes and/or cartoons aren't meant to be turned into live-action movies & should just be left alone in thier legendary state.

I think the main reason why this FLOP, because the person who play Goku was WHITE!!....I have a Feeling Avatar: The Last Airbender will FLOP too...They should just Stick with the Originals
