Depends. After her Oscars performance, radio could give it a try and play the song. They don't have to release it as a single.
Just put it on iTunes & let people buy it / radio play it if they want to. If the song doesn't do anything, well at least we'll have it in HQ.

If people are here for it, let the song do its thing No need to push it.

They better save the release date of the song for when it's nominated somewhere & Gaga is invited to perform.

What else could it possibly be nominated for though if it's not getting any kind of official release other than through the movie? That's as bad of an idea as their teams initial plan lol. They can put it up on youtube in HQ or something at the very least. Besides we were ALL thirsty for her to do well, they better continue to be thirsty.

Then again, things might change and they might release it. An audio uploaded to Vevo would be something small they could do for the fans.

True, I wonder if THG is HONESTLY behind them not releasing it, because it seems like they wanted her to perform it at the Oscars. So I kind of think it may just be Gaga's team not wanting to put it out there, but we haven't heard the song so Idk.

There was a story floating around that Gaga was actually quite pissed at the initial reactions to the song not being released. Supposedly she felt it was ungrateful of fans to complain about it not being put on iTunes since it's such an important topic.

Diane seems to be the only person worried about the Oscars. Gaga and her team might not even see it as an option and/or care if it gets nominated or not. But again, things might change after how well she did at the Oscars. She might want to kill it two years in a row.

The only thing I'm worried about is if they don't release it then we won't hear the song in HQ... ever... until they release the DVD... if they release the DVD...
