The fact that some of you are defending Giuliana makes me want to leave this site. Like even if she wasnt being racist (which i think she was not), it was wrong and she needs to own up to it and apologize.
Guiliana basically has the mindset of "Dreads = Bob Marley = Weed" is incredibly stereotypical and offensive. The fact that some of you don't see it as problematic is problematic in and of itself imo.

Pretty sure African American women are not the only ones who wear dreads yet want to take the most offense to this comment. Surely the African American community has bigger problems to worry about than someone making a joke about people with dreads smoking weed

People just need to watch what they say. Saying or implying that people with dreads smell like weed or oil is a stereotype and always reverts to race or a group of people. She did right to apologize because it could have certainly been taken that way.
