During her visit, she and rapper apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas took a tour of Manila. According to 'The Voice of the Philippines' coach, Scherzinger got in touch with him while she was still in London, asking him to show her around the city.

There Nicole met families at the Baseco Compound who would have been battling poverty, hunger, disease and the risk of violence without help and donations.

On the afternoon of her trip, the "Cats" star met children taking part in singing and dancing activities based around learning about their rights and keeping them off the streets.

These aren't professional pictures. They were taken with Nicole's own phone by a UNICEF employee and posted on her Facebook page.

There probably will be official pictures and video posted by UNICEF on their website in a month or two when they use it to advertise for donations. She visited South America last year and she never posted about it, but photos were up on the UNICEF website recently.

Lovely charity work. Nicole is an ambassador, her purpose is to be photographed and spread awareness. Besides, she's done this before too in Africa and Latin America, she's a sweetheart. Do I have to mention Nicole is half-Filipino? She's paying respects to her heritage with this visit too.
