What is Alexandra doing? Does she actually want a career. The cardinal rule of the pop/R&B industry is..."Don't let Beyonce or Jay-Z listen to your songs, 'cause they're gonna find a way to jack that ****".
Don't get me wrong. I love Beyonce. The girl has more talent that most of the girls in the game. But facts is facts. Bey is a shameless thief. If she hears someone else's "hot" song, she's gonna be on the phone to the producers the next day, to get them to remix that **** for her album (and change a few words, so she can get a writing credit).
Alexandra has been "twittering" like mad lately, as she's recording in New York and LA, laying down hot tracks with producers. She's ran into both Jay-Z (earlier) and Beyonce (who was hanging around the studio where Alex was recording, possibly on the lookout for new material to jack). Anyway, Alex seemed really pleased that Beyonce took the time to listen to some of her tracks. Poor, naive Alex. I know it was a dream come true to duet with one of your idols like Beyonce, but you need to wake up and smell the coffee. Beyonce is not your friend. She's now a rival, and she's not doing you any favors listening to your stuff. She's keeping an eye out on any possible competition, and possibly now coming up with ideas to try and do something similar to the hottest song you recorded, and release it before you do. Beyonce may be sly, but she ain't stayed ahead of the game all these years by being stupid. Simon Cowell should have warned Alex not to let Beyonce go anywhere near her in a studio, while she was recording. Anyway, here's Alex's twitter;
