I have not been that moved by a performance ever. She sang so beautifully and happily. And the ending note truly took my breath away. I cried at the end because I was so overjoyed and taken away by her amazing, angelic voice.

What an ignorant thing to say. This isn't about Gaga–The Sound of Music has the richest legacy of any film and has inspired the countless people who grew up with it. Rodgers & Hammerstein are two of the most influential artists of all time and The Sound of Music is their magnum opus. Gaga putting on a beautiful performance of such timeless music could reduce any eclectic music lover to tears.
