TD's album sales are kinda disappointing when you consider its eight smash hits. This site seems to forget that one of a single's main purposes is to encourage people to buy its parent album. When you consider how much other recent huge albums have sold (TF, 21) with far fewer monster singles, TD's overall success seems a bit less impressive.

Considering 1989 will handily outsell TD in the long run and its tour should gross at least 3x as much, I'd say that makes up for the singles.

I think 21, 1989, TD, Loud and BTW are the most remarkable female popstar eras this decade. 21 more than the others tho, obviously!
