Ugh I'm so mad with Freakshow, I expected so much more. Everything was a mess. All the characters were lackluster (Dandy was somehow interesting) and it feels like it didn't even have a plot.
I have to say Coven >
Coven started out really, really great. I think people forget that it only got bad towards the end when the writers started fkopping. Honestly until halfway through, it had maybe the best plot line behind Asylum
Coven because it had more horror elements and some gory scenes. Only scene that l found gory in Freak Show was Maggie's death.
But Freak Show had one of the top 3 best episodes in AHS overall, and it was 10th episode "Orphans". It's the first episode in AHS that made me cry. Poor Pepper
Coven by FAR. It may not have been scary but at least it made up for it by being campy with an interesting story. Freak Show wasn't bad but there were so many better directions they could've taken and the story progression was very slow.
I think Coven is the better season but I enjoyed Freak Show a LOT more. I calculated my final ratings for the two seasons and Coven got a 96% while Freakshow got a 94%.
