He wasn't the lead singer of Oasis, his brother Liam was. Noel was the lead guitarist, main songwriter, backing vocalist of the band, even tho he did sing as a lead singer on many Oasis songs, especially on their last albums.
And if it's one of your favorite bands, you should know he's not "disgusting" but ok...
