Lana's sales have nothing to do with her being a petty bitch.

But she sure did experience a sophomore slump with Ultraviolence (both creatively and commercially), and I think J-Lo's 20+ year long career is fine, but completely irrelevant to this discussion.

She is a comedian. She takes real life happenings, exaggerates them and tells them in a way to make people laugh. It's her job and that's what Kathy is doing for so long now. I mean, Lana's reaction was probably not complimenting her,
Kathy for sure knows damn well, that she had many encounters where people didn't like her. She turns them into jokes. It's her way to deal with bitterness.

I don't know what the big deal is She gave Lana almost more promo than Lana gave herself for the last year.

Ultraviolence is a critically acclaimed album which sold over 1.2 million what's that like 4 times more than J.Lo's new album and more than many female artist albums in 2014 despite having half the promo or none at all.

There's not a single slump to speak of, you can tweet/ask various critics who have praised the album if you like.

It's clear Kathy Griffin was exaggerating. I'm sure Lana has quite the same humor as Kathy, and Lana has never like that, but get that promo, queen.

Indeed - like Kathy has this reputation as being mean or unfriendly when she's literally the nicest person on the planet (from every single thing I've ever seen her in - which is a LOT), but she is a comedienne -not "mean". There's a difference. Saying nice things isn't funny.
