I think Taylor is shoo-in to dominate the VMAs this year. She has no competition so far. Rihanna's era will overlap with hers but the VMAs are not too fond of her.

Awards are used as promotional tools, just look at how rigged the Oscars are

no, the AOTY repeat winner grammy denial is a lame excuse. She'll win if her album is the best nominated, but usually an artist doesnt have the momentum to pump out classic after classic thats above the rest, hence why a repeat winner never really occurs. There have been albums released within the same scope of 1989 that will likely edge it, including Black Messiah, ect. She probably wont win not because of her success, but because the album wont be the best one of the bunch.

please! The Grammy academy just likes to **** with people. It ain't got **** to do with being top, bottom, underdog etc. they'll do you wrong when they want and for whatever reasons they deem fit.
