Anyway, quick paragraph about my dog's situation, since I didn't explain that much last night.
Basically, my dog was over 13 years old, and he had been slowly but surely deteriorating over the last few weeks. So, it wasn't sudden or shocking. I was mentally prepared for it, but it is still sad. He was a really good boy, and the only dog in my family that I would go with on walks.
I know he is in a better place now, hanging out with some of his long-time friends who have all passed in the last 6 months. Thank you all for the love and support.

The dog is likely in a better place, but you surely have had some great years with that dog.
