Yes!!! It's the best show I've ever seen!!!! They don't make shows like it anymore!!!! Season 4 is the best season. The acting gets better & the storylines more involved. The alien government conspiracy episodes are a great storyline but so are the stand alone monster of the week episodes. In season 4 they also somewhat connect amongst each other. Gillian Anderson won an Emmy for her performance as Scully for Season 4. Def give it another go. It's def worth watching. Some of the most memorable episodes are in Season 5. They def have some tongue in cheek fun episodes if you're looking for a good laugh too! ;p It really is a great show.

Oh. My bad!!! Sorry!!!! 20 years in to the show I forget that not everyone knows that. Yea. It all ties in starting with season 2 cuz she got pregnant in real life so they had to write some interesting storylines for her that would continue on down the road aka aliens & government conspiracies. The first episode I ever saw was where she finds out, so maybe since the acting was so good is why I got hooked to the show. It's def worth a watch, but if you feel you don't want to dedicate the time to the whole series, we can recommend some good stand alone episodes. Alien mythology or creature of the week etc. Whatever your preference may be. Sorry again for spoiling that for you... =/
