I haven't really noticed that happening, tbh. And who gives a f*ck what other stan bases think, anyways? seriously.

The truth is, Britney only has 4 songs in her whole discography with her credited as a writer. And even then, it's in a camp of 10+ other writers. She just doesn't write her own songs unfortunately.

Yes but some others don't have any or claim it when they didn't wrote anything which is a lot worse.

Britney has showed that she's a decent song writer, no one can deny that, people just wanna focus in the last 2 eras were she was 100% disconnected to discredit her previous work.

And there is literally one other writer on the track I posted, who has only ever written two songs including "Everytime".

Why does the fact that Britney Spears can play an instrument and has actually written, and not in the sense of adding an adlib, but actually writing, from scratch, a big worldwide hit BOTHER people so much?

She wrote 1 song. From what I understand from the army, Britneys only song where she had creative control on was Everytime. Considering that's the only song y'all ever mention in these type of threads. It only helps prove my point that she's not a songwriter

I mean, it's not like Britney has demos out there of half her discography sung by other people with two words or an adlib changed in the final version with her name stamped on it.

She's written several songs on the Britney and In the Zone albums before her life became a mess.

The thread isn't even about Britney's songwriting in general, just about how some people deny outright that she's EVER written anything.

She doesn't write her songs anymore, or sing them live.
