Kodi Smit-McPhee has joined the already very impressive cast of X-Men: Apocalypse as a younger version of fan-favourite mutant teleporter, Nightcrawler. The character was last seen in the second X-Men movie played by Alan *******, and we all wondered if we'd every see the "Fuzzy Elf" return to the franchise. Smit-McPhee was most recently seen in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but his best performance was arguably in the bleak (but brilliant) adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road.
This is very exciting. He's my friend's little brother and perfect for the role. He will be an amazing Nightcrawler. As a huge X-men fan, I was so thrilled to hear the news last night.
I love Nightcrawler but I don't see how the events of DOFP would make it so they meet him earlier than X2. I hope we get sassy X-Men:Evoloution Nightcrawler rather than boring religious Nightcrawler. The guy playing him is cute
