This particular strain of pop makes me want to cry. It's very popular with kids here in Australia.

He was mad people were making fun of it because he "worked very hard for 5 months" and I'm just sitting here thinking artists sometimes work years on their albums lol. Music should not just be a hobby.

Youtubers trying to make music seems like quite a normal thing to do these days. Being honest, Youtubers barely earn any money, so they see in music a profitable career, since they are already popular. They may not make loads of money, but enough to have a living!

Here in Argentina we have Youtubers making music as well!

Why not? He isn't hurting anyone or taking anything away from other artists. He never claimed that he was going to fully transfer into a serious artist and make it his primary career. He's just doing what he enjoys and releasing it for some coins. I don't find his music to be particularly good, but you can tell he really enjoys singing and shooting MVs.
