I can sing, but I only sound good singing certain songs. I could slay Diamonds and Luxury tbh, but sound terrible singing a lot of other songs. I think I just need to figure my voice and my range.
I've been told I've got a very good voice and people told me it's high. I write my own songs (pop and rock) and I feel more comfortable and confident singing my own songs than other people's.
