Boy George, Garbage, Diplo & thousands of people boycott BBC
Shirley Manson, boy george, and Diplo are supporting all artists over 40 that are getting boycotted by BBC radio 1's playlist for being "too old", such as Madonna, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, etc.
Hopefully this will catch on. Too many talented artists are being snubbed just because of their age, Madonna is the perfect artist to fight this. She has the legacy, she has a good song, and she has the age. Hopefully BBCR1 will reconsider their policies.

exactly. it's not just about my idol, it's about the bigger picture and the message they are spreading. they are a public station paid by the tax payer.

Y'know, people say Madonna's trying to be down with the kids but look at BBC Radio 1. Sorry, but nobody is ever going to think Auntie Beeb is hip, especially not the in the age of the internet. They should pull their fingers out and at least playlist the songs to test. If it doesn't catch on, fine. But they shouldn't make decisions like that based on an imagined idea of "what's cool" or some online poll - who's to know without hearing the bloody thing first?
