It's great and all, but come on Mariah. Your Pop gem is better than your Hip Pop gem.
The Fantasy remix with Ol Dirty Bastard is awful, I can't stand it. I know it's a career defining moment for her, but his horrible voice destroys the classic

This!! The remixes loses the magic of the pop masterpiece. Instead of daydreaming to the original you just do a cute little dance to the remix. The layering and harmonies of the chorus is what makes the song for me, you can focus on the little riff of the Genius of Love sample or her ad libs or the melody and it's really like getting lost in a daydream.

The crossroads album. This marks the end of the Tommy years and the "all-american" girl next door image. Great album that gives us glimpses of a transformation coming.
Fav single - Fantasy
Top 5 tracks - Looking In, Forever, Underneath The Stars, Daydream Interlude, Long Ago
Biggest thing I remember from this era is her not winning a single Grammy for this album lol
