These days, I guess be a troll and make flamebait threads or try to create an exciting thread. Be the leading stan on your fanbase. Or be a post-*****. Or when you post, post with the same gif or smiley that you identify with. Works with certain members and has beens. Or you could be a snitch and be the report police? Be the guy to provide information on music and news? You can't be nice to be known since ATRL ain't about that life. Be a bitch?
I don't care to be known because I rather be myself and share and talk about music with those that want to. I feel better posting what I want to get it out and not even thinking the number of posts, just what I'm commenting. I care more about the quality of my posts so I take a laugh out of it whenever I stroll down memory lane. I do appreciate those that care about my commentary. I live in YTT and I get love for my commentaries and my diversity. It's awarding to be free in my posts without worrying about the rules or pissing people off. That's why I rather be in YTT than in main ATRL. I don't let praise get to me. I just like to do what I like to do and if people like what I do, then that's even better.
Same thing applies to real life. I only open my gates to a few people I'm most comfortable or cool with. Even when I'm anti-social, If I get a good vibe from the person or when I'm in the good mood, then I feel fine to let out my thoughts and share anything I feel like I'm sharing.
You should posting whatever you feel like to only the people that are cool with you and that's the way to get the most fun experience in an online forum esp. ATRL since well, it's a big community. Let them come to you instead of you come to them.
