The music video starts off at the front of a gate of a huge manor/mansion. Slowly the gates open and limousine pulls through, driving slowly down the long and extensive cemented driveway. The limousine is jet black and oddly enough doesn’t have it’s headlights on despite it being night time.
The screen switches to a huge bedroom, the master bedroom. The interior design of the bedroom is a soft pink with black lace pattering running down the wall paper, along with the bed being covered with a silky pink comforter with black lace embroidery. Taylor’s seen sitting on the huge bed, in a silk pink robe that too is embroidered with the same black lace pattern. The robe is open far enough to see a glimpse of Swift’s cleavage pushed up in a soft pink bra, revealed to be a Victoria’s Secret bra as a closeup of the bra is shown, the letters ‘VS’ imprinted on it. Swift’s hair is short and straightened, her lips a natural soft pink color.
“Midnight, you come and pick me up no headlights. Long drive, could end burning flames or paradise.” The singer sings seductively in the camera, shots of her gripping the cover of the bed, her lips singing the words, along with the shot of a frontal, showing viewers a closeup of the ensemble Swift had on (and a nice shot of her breasts). (Swift’s outfit)
“Fate in the view, it’s been awhile since I’ve even heard from you” Taylor sings as the camera pans back to the limousine that’s now parked outside of Swift’s mansion, revealed to be Uptown Court (x) A shot of her lover sitting in the backseat, staring out the window to the light in Taylor’s room is shown for a brief moment. We do not see his face but we see the outline as it is dark.
It goes back to Taylor who’s now pulling on skin tight black dress. We see her slip the dress on, her back bare as the camera pans to show her slim body looking quite curvaceous in the dress. She slips on a pair of heel booties before she looks over her shoulder, knowing that he’s arrived. [x]
During the pre-chorus Taylor is seen at her vanity mirror, which has three mirrors surrounding either side of Swift. She’s applying some mascara, blush, before a shot shows her carefully applying a thick layer of red lipstick. “I should just tell you to leave cause I, know exactly where it leads, but I, watch us go round and round each time,” Swift croons the lyrics as she stares into the mirror, looking sexy yet classy, leaning forward to inspect herself in the mirror, admiring the view.
The pounding full production of the chorus hits as the limousine appears to be stopped at a location. Quickly the door opens, revealing Taylor’s love interest, Theo James in a tuxedo, a black one before he holds out his hand to help Taylor out, a shot of him doing so from outside the limo being shown. A closeup of Taylor’s eyes are shown before one of his’ are too as she sings, “You got that James Dean, daydream, look in your eye… They share a moment before cameras start flashing instantly and constantly. A shot of the two walking together, hand in hand, is shown, showcasing the classy yet sexy look the both have going. “A tight little skirt” shows a closeup of Taylor’s outfit. Scenes of the two in the limo, face to face are shown as the city lights shine through the windows are shown before it switches to the two inside a restaurant that’s illuminated in a very romantic and sexy dark red light. The two are seen looking in each others’ eyes before they both take a sip of their champagne, shots of the two smirking at each playing during the chorus.
The second verse hits and the two are staring face to face with each other in the limo, a shot being shown of it speeding down the highway. Their eyes are locked on each other as they both appear to have something on their mind along with a desire for each other. A shot of TJ licking his lips is shown as Taylor slowly but surely crosses her legs, catching his eye as she uses a hand to rub her legs in a nonchalant and seductive way. He slowly begins to unbutton the blazer he has on, causing Taylor to look at him frustrated as he begins to unbutton the undershirt underneath it too. She then proceeds to pull up her dress as shots of the two posing for the cameras flashing are shown once again, interrupting the little strip off they had going, along with clips of the two embracing in other locations. A clip shows her straddling him in the limo, her face inches above his as a close up of her red lips are shown as she sings, “I got that red lip classic thing that you like…”
“We never go we never go we never go” Taylor sings as a clip of him following Taylor closely behind into the mansion is shown before a different scene is shown, one of the two kissing passionately in the bedroom Swift appeared in at the beginning although the lighting is now in a dark shade of pink. Close shots are shown of their lips moving together are displayed, along with her hands on his chest, unbuttoning his undershirt completely, him removing it and more. He then undoes Swift’s dress hastily before clips show him pushing them down on the bed. His lips are shown on her bare neck, hers on other parts of his body, before we get shots of them moving together in the dark, in obvious sexual positions. Close ups of their facial expressions are shown, eyes closed before more scenes are shown, including shots of Taylor’s red lipstick all over his face, along with his neck.
Some other intimate shots are shown, including the two kissing each other in the limousine before they switch back to some more of the two in the bed. Taylor’s seen moving downwards of his face with a smirk before more visually beautiful of the two making love are shown. “Cause we never go out of style, we never go out of style” Swift sings on the track as an aerial view of the two from the waist up are shown before the lights in the room dim out into complete darkness.
